AIPMA Decides To Increase Plywood Prices By 5%
All India Plywood Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) has decided to revise the prices of plywoods by 5 % and Shuttering Plywood by Rs. 1.00 per sqft with immediate effect during a zoom meeting held on 10th November, 2020. In release Mr. Vikas Khanna, General Secretary (AIPMA) informs that after a long discussion on sharp increase in present cost of production and as the same will continue in near future all the participating Presidents of all the States Associations and Members decided for revision of plywood prices with immediate effect.
A Zoom meeting was held on 10′ November 2020 in which some of the key members from various states like Haryana, Punjab, Uttrakhand. U.P. NCR Delhi, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Gujarat participated under the Chairmanship of AIPMA President Sri Devender Chawla and Chairman Sri Naresh Tiwari. Meeting was organized to discuss the current serious issues of raw materials specially Face Veneer and formaldehyde.
Two days before, Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association (PPMA) decided to increase the prices of Plywoods by 7 % with immediate effect. Chairman Mr. Ashok Juneja and Mr. Inderjeet Singh Sohal informed that due to increased prices of raw materials such Formaldehyde, Melamine and all other costs, there is an impact of 10 % on their manufacturing input cost, hence they are compelled to increase the prices.
